Why would people fear the end of the world?
For me personally if the world was ending in a blaze of glory id be ecstatic, huge asteroid hurdling towards the earth? AWESOME!!! I just don't understand why people fear such an epic feat, perhaps one of you could explain it.

I think most people are afraid of the unknown, I'm not afraid of it because I know that the earth will remain forever and will be turned into a paradise. The only fear I have is that I won't be an approved citizen.

If someone has something forward to look forward to in life, it would suck if it was cut short because the world ended.

this world sucks! we've got shootings, innocent animals//people being abused, tons of obesity & other epidemics. why would anyone be SAD should this world fade away?
