How much does a speculum hurt?

Okay well I am going to the gynecologist on Thursday.

I am only 13, a virgin, and I can't even put my index finger in without it hurting a lot. The most I have done is use a regular tampon, and those also hurt a lot for me to pull out...

So you get the idea.

I have an infection so I pretty much have no choice, and my doctor will be a girl so I am hoping she will be more understanding :L.

I am so scareed.

How much will it hurt? djfishfihg

Will she HAVE to use it? Can she take a sample without it?

Also it sounds gross, I will most likely feel violated ;~~.

I tried Yeast Infection treatment twice and it didn't work.

So,,, Yeah.

Also to be SURE I was having issues I was feeling around "down there" to look for redness. Will she know because that would be SO embarrassing.

My symptoms:

Redness

Itch

Odor

Slight burning/pain

Thick chunky white discharge with green in it.

My urination hasn't been affected, so it's not a UTI.

    Honestly it will probably hurt a lot... it did for me but it's pretty fast so don't worry.

    Some women have a condition where there vagina is too tight to insert even the smallest tampon,

    So maybe you have that.
