Can you take a photo from video with the Nikon coolpix s9300?

I'm looking for a new camera and was looking as the coolpix s6300 especially because the price is great but I'm looking for a camera that I can take a photo from video and that model doesn't include that. I saw the cooxlpix s9300 but not positive if that feature was included. If not, any suggestions to a reasonable camera to take photo from video?

Don't know of any camera that will take a photo from a video. Many editors on a computer will do it, but not a camera. Many cameras will pause while you are videoing and let you take a photo.

I even have been having an identical project with my digicam. same type, same situation. I even have got here upon that's an argument with the digicam s firmware. The digicam is attempting to apply HDR, the place it takes 2 or greater image, taken systematically and layer them to style a greater beneficial high quality image. regrettably the time between each and every image to be layered is approximately one 2nd, so any flow between while the 1st image is taken and the 2nd image is taken will effect in blur while layered. the only way I even have got here upon to stay away from this project is to apply the flash. With the flash on, HDR is disabled simply by fact the time between each and every image exceeds one 2nd. you may think of image stabilization could restoration this however the situation occurs earlier the image in processed for stabilization.

You don't do it with the camera you need to capture a frame with a player or editor in your computer.
