IS ANY0NE HAVING PR0BLEMS SAVING SETTINGS ON G00GLE?

The google websiye saved settings feature seemed to be broken....

If I goto www.google.com the us or uk version...on my Droid or Ipad or linux box....using various web browser clients and try to save my search filtering settings in google....search history and precise location...etc...and hit save like I have been doing for many many years I get the cute error message...

"Unable to save your preferences at this time...try again later!"

or some other garbage...so I just went back to using yahoo instead....:(

I tried saving my google settings with both firefox and the android web clients...cleared my cache...cookies...history locally...even tried yelling at my screen...but nothing helped!

Anyone have a workaround or any information on this?? Or is it just me who is getting this error?

I checked various knowledge bases and found nothing...

Thanks in Advance...

Search filters are known to not work, it's probably a deal between google and the advertisers to silently kill this feature. Using Yahoo instead of google is probably a bad idea, but since you call error messages 'garbage' and yell at the screen to make it work, you'll be fine with it.
