What is a 401M plan? And do I need it?
I put money away for my 401k but on my checks I see that I am putting money into both a 401k and a 401m.
Can someone explain the difference or why I have two types of 401 plans?

401(m) has something to do with the matching contributions your employer adds to the money you are putting into your 401(k).
Check the numbers on your pay stub. I'll bet you find that the 401(k) funds are being deducted from your gross pay and the 401(m) funds aren't.
