How to do this in Flash Actionscript 3?

So theres this movie clip that is embedded in the main stage, and the instance name is

h1_mc

so what i want to do this is to play, stop, gotoAndPlay, and gotoAndStop the h1_mc from the actionscript in the main timeline.

How do I do this?
