What's the legal age you can drop out of high school (without parents' permission) in Florida?
"The school leaving age varies from state to state with most having a leaving age of 16 or 17, but a handful having a leaving age of above that number." That's all I can find.

I think the legal age is 16.
But I wouldn't drop out. I thought about dropping out of high school back when I was in it, then it struck me that there are no good job opportunities out in the world today for people without at least a high school education. Unless you plan to be a musician that will make it big, pro athlete, or famous for any other reason I would stay in school.
I struggled with all my subjects and had no friends, then I joined a group in my school that catered to my needs and I made friends that helped me throughout high school and led me on my way to college.
I just finished up my third semester and found out I got a 1.75 GPA, it was heartbreaking, but still passing. Knowing that with my degree I can have a more spread out variety of job choices in my field of study.
