The Sims 3; Adopting Spouse's Children?
Alright. I know that you can adopt children in The Sims 3, but can you adopt your new spouse's children as your own?

yes and no. In the game as it comes you can not do that. But there are mods that make it possible to remove the father of the child as the father and change it to another man. Or remove the childs mother and add a new mother. But other than that no. You could have the parent go to the court house and change the child's last name to the name of the new parent in the case of a new step father.

The mod that does what I said is called master controller. It does a lot of useful fun things for the game.
