I agree, a lot of people are saying it's going to be based on "Where No Man Has Gone Before". And, there is a lot of evidence to support that. Especially that new girl with the blonde hair; she looks almost identical to the girl from that episode. The villain's MO matches up as well.
However, there is still a fair amount of people saying it might be a re-boot of the whole Khan storyline (episode where he first appeared: Space Seed). In the Japanese version of the trailer, the villain mentions something about "doing anything for family" and there is a very small clip very reminiscent of the ending of Wrath of Khan with Kirk and Spock. Of course, it's a trailer so it could just be J.J. Abrams messing around with everyone. You never can tell.
