Why do people follow others / as in being stupid?

Like birds of a same feather or fish of the same school

Is no one independent....or a leader anymore?

It just seems there are to many people following the IN crowd...

Just the other day I ran into a person who appeared to be older than me who i saw dressed like two others in a group...No they were not gang affiliates...its just what seems to be in or cool right now...I guess...

Haha welcome to Socity. When one person is surrounded by several other people that one person feel outta place and tends to follow in some sort of way as the rest. EVERYONE DOES IT. In my sociology class my professor had once told us no one is unique. For example, I bet you work, you eat, you sleep, you hang out, you've done something dumb and etc. I know these are bold statements and you think it's dumb but everyone does there's things because everyone else does. It's how we learn to do what we do.

Are you so young and inexperienced as not to know the obvious?

    THE OBVIOUS:

Most people are mediocre (News at eleven!) and ready to avoid any "disturbing fact" at any cost.

Moreover, the average Joe does NOT want to lead anyone -much less himself or herself. He just wants a job that pays his food and housing, a warm place to s#it and someone to fcuk when the need arises.

If this is appears cynical, please, do not kill the messenger.
