Can you setup a 4th generation iPod Touch without a computer?
Are you able to just connect to a wifi network to setup your account/download updates when you turn the device on for the first time, or will the screen just show that 'connect to computer icon?' I was able to use my iPad without connecting it to my laptop and an iPod Touch is basically a smaller iPad.

Yes you can. As a matter of fact, millions of users dont ever connect to iTunes. youre not obliged to set it up by connecting to the computer. just connect to wifi and enjoy. plus, you can back up all your stuff to iCloud instead of your computer.

no.you need to get your connection ip address from your computer so you can do it wireless.its exciting and how I know is because of my iphone. I dont need computer but its still good to have for updating itunes and other things on it.and I had a itouch before.
