Will Lutino Cockatiel's bald patch come back?

A month ago I was so blessed to bring home a gorgeous 4-month-old Lutino female 'tiel, and I did notice a bald patch behind her crest but I also noticed pin feathers poking out back there. Now it is almost 100% filled in, and obviously her breeder has done a good job overcoming the "typical lutino bald patch" and I am wondering if its going to stay filled in her entire life? Or is it going to go bald again as she gets older?

Lutino's are well known for their Bald Patch you are lucky if it is filled , as for it becoming bald again , that is only going to be found out when it moults at around 6-8 months/

Having been a breeder for over 50 years I still have not managed to breed out the bald patch 100%

So good luck with your bird.

Your breeder is an fool and irresponsible. there's no such element as an Albino Cockatiel. What you have a i a Lutino-Whiteface. Poorly breed Lutinos in many circumstances have a bald spot in the back of the crest, this may be a consequence of damaging breeding practices whilst the mutation became first presented years in the past. in charge breeders bred remote from this bald spot years in the past and their inventory now no longer has it. If the bald spot isn't in the back of the crest yet on the back of the neck such as you're saying then it somewhat isn't any longer the end results of a genetic bald spot. it must be countless issues yet at that area that's maximum possibly a consequence of the chick being plucked by using considered one of its parents.

This is normal, I have 2 tiels of different colour variations and they've had their fair share of bald patches that come and go.
