Apocalypse questions?

For the record, i do not believe in this conspiracy. I just want this discussion to get the idea out of believers minds. If planet x or something were to happen, wouldn't we have witnessed something today. It's not like on the 20th everything is fine and then right at 12 am on 12 21 we die. This is asinine and we should have seen or felt something if the solar alignment is only 2 days away. Thoughts? Opinions? Trolling? By the way, if i see a meteorite, i will crank up that apocalyptic love by slash!

If this thing were to be out there, as massive as it is we'd be able to see it now. Not just with telescopes or anything but with the naked eye. It would be sitting in the sky giving the finger to everybody saying that there's nothing you can do and just accept what's going to happen.

This entire 2012 nonsense is just nonsense. Nothing is going to happen. We're going to be here on Saturday and I'm going into work on Monday laughing at the stupid people that took Friday off because they think they're going to die.

All this end of the world nonsense stems from a misunderstanding regarding the Mayan long count calender. The Mayan calender doesn’t predict the end of the world on Dec 21st anymore then my wall calender predicts the world is going to end this Dec 31st. Rather the Mayan long count calender has completed its cycle of 13 b'ak'tun ( a little over 5125 years) and is ready to start counting over again. The Mayan long count calender (one of 3 calenders the Mayans used, started the first b'ak'tun on August 13, 3113 BC, and the thirteenth ends on December 21st 2012.
