Why is papa johns pizza doing so well?
The pizza is not much better than most places...plus its expensive and their profits are through the roof...and the CEO complains about having to pay out for obama care even thought they will still make a profit...not as high..but their prices have gone up by nearly 35% in the last decade...what gives...little cesears sells a 5 dollar pizza that is almost just as good...they seem to make a profit, it's not as high but still a profit...so again, what gives...marketing?msg hidden in the product?mass media through sports and lawsuits?really, the pizza is not all that.....and while I'm at it...I'm starting to get tired of seeing papajohns face in all the ads and in the store...I mean is he colonel sanders or something...if he were dead it would be ok...but he puts his face out there like a dictator from third world countrys...

They do a great job at marketing. They say they have better ingredients, so that makes better pizza. But, is it true that their pizza is better? Well, if they said it on the TV, it must be true, right? So, people sitting at home say, "I want pizza, but Dominoes, Little Caesar, and Pizza Hut are crap. Hey, let's try Papa John's." And, because they were told that it's better pizza, they believe it.
Personally, I will only eat pizza from an Italian restaurant or premium pizza restaurant. Or, I make it myself at home.

I think it might be their strong advertising and 2 million free pizzas during football season.

them tie in with your local team winning. Like 50% off.
And I agree, their pizza is just average, like Pizza Hut
