My dog is sick but we don't know with what?

I have a Teacup Pomeranian and he is about 4 years old. Two days ago we noticed he was acting weird. He was really tired and not running after the cats or being annoyed when they got close to him like usual. He is shaking and not eating much. He stares at his toys like he wants us to throw them but when we do he slowly runs over to it and does nothing. No chewing or picking it up at all. We also noticed he gets tense when we touch his chest. We started looking closer and noticed he has a small lump right under the right side of his chin. It doesn't hurt him when we touch it but he just seems annoyed. He just sits around like he is in pain.

He wants to sit on our laps when we sit on the floor but he is uncomfortable and doesn't feel well when we pick him up. He wants to sit with us like he usually does but he is just uncomfortable and not feeling well.

We feed him healthy, organic dog food and rarely give him table scraps, and when we do it is little pieces of cooked chicken with nothing on it or small pieces of bread, which are also organic.

We haven't taken him to the vet yet because we were watching to see if it worsened or got better in the next couple days, but two days later he is exactly the same.

Update:

He isn't shaking all the time. He just shakes randomly like he is happy or cold. He is going to the vet right now. He is still walking around and such so he isn't totally limp. He just has moments where he acts a little off.

Update 2:

He just had some sore mussel tissues in his chest area. He most likely got it because he slept funny. We gave him one dose of five that the vet gave us and he is already completely fine and doesn't need it anymore. This mussel soreness made his throat feel worse since his bread is pron to collapsed trachea's which is why he didn't eat much and wasn't chewing on his toys.

It sounds like an injury to me. Not all injuries can be seen. Some are inside. My dog hurt his back. He just wasn't himself and had a hard time walking. It turned out to be a spinal injury. He must have hurt himself while I was at work. I don't know if he fell or twisted wrong but, he did something. Shaking means that a dog is in pain. Also, any sudden change in behavior can mean that your dog is in pain. I would take him to the vet because he will be able to notice and diagnose things that may not even occur to us. Your dog may need pain meds and steroids too.

It is dependent upon the problem. If the puppy is whelping a clutter of domestic dogs or a cat has slightly diarhhea then the primary alternative might be to manage it at house to look if the problem will get higher. And whilst ready individuals can ask different puppy house owners if they've any strategies on how you can manage the situation and ask for standard recommendation. If it does not get higher then the following alternative is the vet. Some individuals do have a couple of hum dingers on right here, however for probably the most facet the questions are well, legitimate ones.
