Is a wreath an appropriate gift for a secret Santa?
So at work we have secret santas. I don't know the person I drew but I know they wear a cross everyday so they celebrate Christmas.
I was thinking chocolates but someone else gave us all candies.
Maybe an umbrella because she doesn't seem to have one?

With informal gifts it is always best to give something that is consumable. This way the recipient is not obligated to keep it, store it in a drawer or dust it off.
Food is the universal language of every human being. I would give a food item. A wreath will only last the short season that is left. Although I might add that I would love a wreath; although someone else may not. I would get a nice box of crackers and some cheese or cheese spread, a jar of nice jam or perhaps decadent cookies. You can be sure it will be eaten by the recipient or their guests during the holiday season. Another gift that I always love to receive is a gorgeous Christmas tree ornament.

I personally would not enjoy getting a wreath. If it's an office party, get something fun. I'd rather get the cheapest gag gift than a wreath.
