Could be because you tried to pick it up. Might be another reason for it too. Won't know unless you ask them. No guarantee they could disclose that info though.

Anyway can't pick up prescriptions like that for someone else. It's a narcotic,a controlled substance. Not like picking up some antibiotic for a case of Bronchitis.

If he wants it,he has to go and do that himself at another pharmacy.

Does he have a "history "? Why does he have a prescription for Dilaudid? That's an extremely powerful narcotic pain killer used for SEVERE INTRACTABLE pain! Does your brother have incurable cancer that's causing this type pain in him? Or, does he have some type of severe pain that absolutely nothing else has worked in giving any relief? Or, did he get this prescription from a KNOWN Doctor that passes out narcotics prescriptions easily, like candy, as long as you pay for an office visit? Has your brother filled multiple narcotic prescriptions from many DIFFERENT Doctors? Pharmacy hopping filling many different Doctors prescriptions? All pharmacies use an interconnected database, and they can see the Doctor, and pharmacy hoppers getting multiple narcotics prescriptions. If your brother IS doing this there's RED FLAGS RAISED EVERYWHERE! I know for fact that Walgreens is very, very STRICT! Just by your post, I'm very suspicious of BOTH of you!

Well, at the same time i am a company believer in the correct to devout picks and tolerance for all, I additionally suppose that it's the correct of the man or woman to accept and count on their prescriptions to be crammed in a respectable manner. If there may be going to be a clash of curiosity, why would one choose the occupation to with? Kinda like some men and women wanting to play God....Mentioning who gets what is required or prescribed and who does not. I think this same type of factor happened with the RU486 pill, better often called the "morning after pill" .... At the same time i suppose it to be the inherent rights of any man or woman, how can one say that by using standing up for their own beliefs in the sort of career and in reality limiting the rights of others beliefs are good enough? Just when you consider that beliefs are specific, makes not one any more or any much less valid. So it would appear that on this distinctive obstacle, that we're caught up in a capture-22 just my humble pagan thoughts. Blessings to all )o( trinity

That's a very powerful narcotic. If the prescription is covered by insurance, you need to contact the insurer. He may be restricted to filling it at one particular pharmacy, or may be blocked from filling a prescription at all, but there's no way to tell without learning more about the reason.

Walgreens should have told you why they would not fill it. Check with the physician that wrote the prescription.

Dilaudid is a C-II drug. Either his insurance won't cover it or they don't carry it. But they're the only ones who have the answer & per HIPPA they will only legally tell him why.
