Is it too late for me to whiten my teeth even if some of my enamel is gone?

My teeth are kinda yellow and four of my front teeth has some of the enamel gone. I don't like the color of my teeth; I just want them to be white or at least a very light yellow. It's not that bad when I look in the mirror up close. (I wish I had pictures but I don't) Do you think I can whiten my teeth with those white strips everybody is talking about?

No, I wouldn't advise it. Dentists say if you have enamel gone, it will hurt those teeth and those particular ones probably wouldn't whiten up anyway.
