Your idea that God takes sides in these matters is interesting.

God was invited to the Red Sea.. That is the difference!

God gives us free will, which includes the ability to choose evil. He could not take away the ability to choose evil without taking away our capacity for love.

The children are now safe forever with Jesus.

God isn't about preventing us from making choices, He is about allowing us to choose to do good or evil and then rewarding us or punishing us for our choices we have made, knowingly.

We all die and are judged. Your time is coming.

One of Three Reasons:

1.) He wants to see us suffer, isn't "loving" or "caring"

2.) He is powerless to stop it, why worship him then? You can worship me!

3.) He doesn't exist.
