How should I start to build my arms?

How many lbs dumbells should I start curling? Where do I go from there and what other techniques can I use to get bigger arms

    I would start with lots of reps with 5 pound and build it up. Don't forget there are better ways to get some nice arms. Push ups are good and maybe eventually pull ups. Also here is a link to a website hope this helps. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/biceps.htm
