If i have two cocker spaniels would they still bark when left alone?

At the moment i have one cocker spaniel and when she is left alone she cries and barks. recently we have been asked to take in a rescue cocker and i was wondering if the companion would make them both more comfortable and not bark, or if it would just be two wailing dogs.

    No way to know that until you get the other dog.
