My 3 yr old has been complaining that the back of his head hurts?

My son is 3yrs old. So almost 2 weeks ago my son has had the flu. Since last week friday he has been complaining that his head hurts everytime he wakes up from the morning and nap time and if I don't give him any motron his head hurts and he's not active to the point he falls asleep for hours. The doctors keep telling me that it's the cold, but tomorrow it's about to make a full week that this has been happening. Any opinions on this?

Ah that sounds pretty bad. He could have fluid pressing up against his brain. The sleeping will make it worse. No more Motrin either. I would get to a hospital fast! A week is very alarming for him to still show symptoms of this. I have had many cases of this at the hospital where I work. He could also have a brain tumor. I would bring him to a hospital ASAP. Not to be morbid but if you don't do something you might have to bury your child.

You should make the doctors do something. He shouldnt be having this. Same thing happen with my niece. She had a headache for a week and the doctors keep saying nothings wrong with her. But then it was 3 week and the doctors said the same this. The mom made them check what wrong with her. She ended up having something serious. Sadly she died when they found out what it was.
