It's not really about friendship, but it definitely has some parts that could be (if not taken the lovey way). But it is about hiding away from life, cause the guy is reflecting back on things and saying he's going to go away for awhile. It's really slow and blissful, a great song.

growing pains-ludacris
sure it isnt as lovey dovey and nice, but for a song by a rapper, its very slow and chill and far from foul and dirty. it captures the feelings of someone full of nostalgia and it makes them remember the friendships they had as a kid.
