How to see the amount of gigs one has on Itunes 11.0.1?

Stary Skies is wrong. All of your old features from Itunes 10 are still there....you just have to turn them on.
In the top left corner click the little icon, then click Show Menu Bar.
Click on View > Show Sidebar
Click on View > Show Status Bar.
Your screen will now be just like it was in Itunes 10.

It doesn't on 11, Mark. I think they got rid of that feature which is sad. They also removed the feature where you can quickly search for music on your iPod/iPhone by artist, song, album title, etc. I really do love iTunes 11's new look and the way it is set up overall but leaving these features out is quite inexcusable and serves as a step backwards.

If you mean how many gigabytes of music,
it should say at the bottom of your main songs list (music -> songs)
