You don't have relapses with the flu. Once your body builds an immunity to that strain,it can't make you sick anymore. Your body knows how to fight it off from memory.
However, it's possible you to come into contact with another strain or another virus altogether. That's why everyone during this time of the year (October-April) needs to have good hygiene and good sense. Wash your hands thoroughly and often. Don't share food or drinks with anyone, even if they appear to be well.

Colds take 10-14 days to depart. People generally don't remain residence besides for the primary few days. An over-the-counter cough med is all you'll be able to do to diminish the coughing - it would possibly not depart till you're good. Use this always each four hours. You must dramatically expand your water consumption and that allows you to support with the dizziness. You might additionally check out a decongestant alternatively than a cough med and spot if that works greater. And, strolling a humidifier within the bed room wherein you sleep may even support diminish the cough and the congestion. I think it depends on your work/stress level. If you have people depending on you I'd say go back to work, but with a plan (bring a quart of herbal tea, drink extra water, eat super clean, take vitamins etc.) But if you can afford to take the time off then do it. In my experience, stress can make you relapse into sickness.
