Brass Knuckles legal vs illegal?

I saw a pair at a flea market a long time ago and ive been wondering even since, I know they are illegal to posses but does having a concealed weapon permit change that? Websites say different things, so i figured i would ask on here BTW i live in the state of Maine, I have no intentions on buying them its just been a question that has been stuck in my head for a while now, Thanks for the help!

It may be under the code section for knives and 'other weapons.' Brass knuckles are illegal to carry everywhere I've looked, but I haven't checked the ME Code. Hey!!!!! Can't you do that?

A Concealed Weapons Permit applies to firearms not brass knuckles.

Brass knuckles are illegal to carry on your person (ie) in your pocket, jacket or on your belt or concealed in your vehicle ect.

But In numerous states it is completely legal to buy/sell/own them for home use.
