Is it just me or is horror these days just not horror anymore. Its more comedy?

I like a good spook, but geez louis cant they be creative again... last great horror i think came out in the 80's

    It's not just you, I also agree. Horror movie these days aren't scary at all. They're about excessive gore and seeing which film can out-gross the next film.

    Making true horror movies are a lost art now.

    Old horror movies aren't scary though either. I'm sure back then they were but now..... meh.

    Say I have bad taste, I don't care, but my favorite horror movies are all from this decade.

    Cheap entertainment sells....an unfortunate fact proven by how shallow and unoriginal Hollywood has become.
