How long before a trip should I get plane tickets to save the most?
If I am flying to Vegas two months from now, how soon before the trip should I get tickets in order to save money? What's the cutoff point?

On the airlines I use it's best to get them as soon as possible but once it goes less then 14 days the price shoots up

The minimum is 14 days, but if a flight starts selling out quickly the price can go up before 14 days. I would suggest you buy as early as possible.

14 days, sometimes they have deals if it's slow but the earlier the better.

Kip, I would be grabbing them now, but I have seen some good rates, packages with Flightcenter.com and Travel jaunts, have a look at those two.
