My cats nose had turned pale white?

I left town for two days, (on Wednesday morning) and came back today. He was being sort of quite, until I noticed that his nose was pale white. I thought he was cold, so I brought him up to my room and switched the heater on. Now he's just lying about, acting sort of normal, but he's being a little lazy. His nose has turned a pale pink now, not like normal. His meows are a little quieter, and I'm really worried. I don't want to go to the vet because I can't afford it right now, and I don't want to go unless it's necessary.

While I was gone, my maid came home twice a day to feed him. I got him a week ago. We are feeding him Persian kitten food, even though he's a long-haired domestic cat, but he's eating it fine.

I'm really worried. He's eating okay too, but his nose is still pale pink, his meows are quieter and mufffed, and he's being a little lazy.

That generally means a cat is anemic, which unfortunately needs a vet visit to determine the cause.

Cats do not like when their humans leave. They are really sensitive to changes in there environmental too. My cats will not eat as much as they should when either my husband or I are away. Cats also can get colds. When my cats get colds the ones who have pink noses their noses turn pale. He might still be acting a little off and being quite because he is unsure about things. They do not like to be left even if someone is coming in to check on them. In a few days of you being around he will perk up. I would try not to leave him again for longer then over night for a while. Especially since he has only been with you a week. Maybe when he is more secure in his environment you could leave over night again but he still wont like it. But he will get over it. It could be worse when my husband leaves for a few days his cat pees on his pillow. lol. So we need to buy him a new pillow every time he has to go out of town.

You can afford to employ a maid but you cannot afford a vet visit for your sick cat?

    I am speechless...
