is it weird for a 19 year old boy to sleep with is mom?

Okay so my boyfriend is 19 years old. He has no problems or family issues except the fact that he does some things I find a little weird... I'm asking this question for advice and if I am wrong or right.

My boyfriend is the only child and at times I feel like his parents suffocate us. We have been dating for 2 years now and have known each other for almost 3. There are times were I willl be on the phone with him in the morning and his parents before work will actually climb in bed with his and cuddle with him for 20 minutes. They will wake him up just so they can get in bed with him and i found this a little weird. They are going on vacation together this break and only got one bed so they can cuddle together...(its not about the money trust me they are very well off) Then my boyfriend will also go to sleep in his parents bed sometimes at night or he'll go take a nap with them and he rather be in their bed then napping or sleeping in a bed with me... His mom even said to him one "my baby boy come sleep with me please i'm lonely..."

This isnt the only thing that i find annoying though. For our one year anniversary we were supposed to go out to dinner together... his parents begged to come and he let them. I was upset and hurt because it was supposed to be our night.

Also, his mom will say things like "we can hang out, but we are not allowed to leave the house at all" or for his birthday today she didnt allow me to make my own boyfriend a cake because she needed to do it and he doesnt want mine which is not true.

We were supposed to go out this sunday together as a couple and now he just told me he wants his (and i quote) daddy and mommy to come with us.

For his birthday I was supposed to buy these really nice expensive sunglasses that he wanted and I told his parents i was getting them and then a week later my boyfriend shows up wearing them saying his dad is amazing he bought the sunglasses for him for his birthday... I was so upset by this! not only did he do this behind my back I told him I was buying them. When I invited my boyfriend to go to Hawaii with me over the summer, he asked his parents and they said but you are not allowed to go we will miss you too much. They tried making stupid excuses up so he wouldnt go. When i invited him to florida over feb break, the first thing he said was he doesnt want to go hell miss his parents too much. I am your girlfriend?? you are 19 and dont want to go on a tropical vacation with me? I just dont get it. And his parents were like well if you go on vacation to florida we will go to Las VEgas without you so you should just stay home. they never went...

And then I always got to listen to her say ohh my babyyy my baby boy i love you so much my baby god bless you. Although this is very sweet of her and I'm not trying to sound horrible here but this is how she ends every conversation with him. Oh and not to mention she calls 100 times when we go out and she knows we went out because she wants to talk to him. He told me that he wishes he could just live with his parents for the rest of his life because they have such an amazing life and he would get treated like a prince. He said although he knows this isnt possible he will be living with them till he is 35 and i should move in with them and we can all live together...

I feel like im suffocating! I try and tell my boyfriend this and he just says im jealous of the relationship he has with his parents. He will stick up for his mom and dad no matter what even if they are wrong about something. he wont say no you can not come it was a date for my girlfriend and Me... in fact hes beyond happy if they come. When he came home from college the other day he ran straight past me to hug and kiss his parents. Dont get me wrong they are very nice to me and I hate to sound so horrible but we are 19 years old now and I feel a little put-off by all of this. We have been dating for 2 years now and I keep on trying to mature our relationship and build upon it but i feel like im dating him and his parents and my freedom is taken away. I feel like my boyfriend is still acting like a 5 year old when i am trying to build a relationship with him and our future.

Is this even normal? guys... do you do this too? Am I the only one who thinks this is weird? any advice
