Windows 8 boot manager boot failed?
My brother turned on his computer and a screen came up showing a text box saying "Boot manager boot failed" then there's an "okay" button under it. he tries to click the button, but not even the mouse shows up. He presses buttons and nothing happens. he already tried pressing f8 when the computer starts, but nothing happened. f11 too. He wasn't trying to install another version of windows. it just happened. I looked it up on the internet and no info was useful. I haven't seen a situation similar to this one yet and I was wondering if it has happened to anyone else.
we've only had the computer for about a month, so its not like it has gotten too old or something.
the computer type is Acer Aspire M5-581

it is windows 8.
which is a complete package of commercial garbage.
which is about as good as window Vista.
you have several choices.
the first one which relates to all further choices is.
Format the hard drive.
from then on you need to choose an operating system that works.
if you want a system with no whistles or bells, use XP.
if you want a system With more features, use windows 7
if you want a system that although slightly more complicated to use
but is free from the Microsoft strings tying down the computer,
then choose linux.
other than that.
buy an apple computer.
if he wants it for playing games,
then buy a games console.
if he wants it just to connect to the internet
he could have built a machine for about £20 which is about $15 US
