    Star what you're suggesting is the big and surprisingly dangerous pro-gun lie

    Out here in the real world we know that many people who are shot and occasionally killed are armed

    and

    We know that there are many real world situations -like the one that you cited - where your gun has the utility value of a paperweight

    and

    We know that there are many real world situations where being armed or unarmed has no bearing at all on the final outcome
