Why are Ottawa building not tall?
Its a good city but why can't they built taller building? ( Like Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver)

I am not sure but when I did a 2 week stint at the Chateau Laurier in the 1980's for C.P Hotels, I was told it has something to do with the Parliament buildings, check with city hall to see if there is not an ordinance

Penguin is right, almost. The ordinance has not been revoked, the city gives variances to different builders, but they still ahve to apply for the variance
