it only seems true because when you're not thinking of him, you're not expecting it so it seems unexpectedly but really isn't.

Honestly no. You thinking about said person has nothing to do with them texting you. Only they can decide whether or not they are going to text you, if you not thinking about them, then it comes off unexpectedly, but even if your thinking about them all day long and they so happen to text you it wouldn't appear that way. So it has nothing to do with you only them
