If it is just alimony, and not child support, then no one pays.
If it is child support, she would be entitled to your social security benefits for the children until they turn 18, or possibly until they graduate college.

Your life insurance policy. Which you should have in the amount of what you owe your spouse.

No one. If it a case of poverty the gov. would probably do something. Depends on circumstances of each case.
