Could someone please explain this to me. MRI RESULTS. would really help me out.?
Loss of lumbar Lordosis with Decreased signal Intensity of L5/S1 disc consistent with degeneration.
Mild to moderate left paracentral disk protrusion,with no significant indentation of the thecal sac and in close relation to the S1 root in its lateral Recess.
at L4-5 there is a mild diffuse disk bulge and facet joint degeneration.
My doctors haven't explained to me.what this means.
(what do the terms of mild and moderate. mean aswell)

I have the same thing all going down my spine. Your discs are slipping out, causing pain and discomfort.
moderate means being within reasonable limits; not excessive or extreme
Mild is not extreme at all

Basically you have a disc in your back slipping out of place which is painful I'm guessing. Mild means like kind of bad moderate is medium

Many times radiologists can generate reports that are difficult for patients to understand the dialogue. I would suggest taking a look at a website called 2ndradiologyopinion.com. A board certified radiologist will take a look at your images and report and generate a 2nd opinion. They will then speak with you on the phone to explain what is going on and a treatment plan.
