when will the next doomday date be?

2036 when Apophis, a 450m asteroid, might actually hit the Earth somewhere possibly in Asia. Will it be bad? Yes. Will it be a tragedy? Yes. Will we have fair warning? Yes. Will it be the end of the world? No.

In 2029 it will pass within the orbit of the satellites but it won't hit us. However we will know at that point if it will hit us in 2036 or not. There's a 600 metre "window" in space that it needs to pass through in order to hit the earth in 2036. If it effectively threads that needle, then NASA has a plan to effectively deflect it slightly so it misses us.

But be prepared to hear lots of doomsayers claiming it's an Earth Level Extinction event and how the Illuminati, the Masons, the Friar's Club or whoever conspiracy theorists claim are in charge of Earth at that point are guiding it to us and will use it to kill off billions of people. Blah blah blah.

The end of life as you know it will come on the day you die. There hasn't been a prediction yet of when everyone will die at once. I'm sure you'll hear of one soon.

Realistically, whenever an asteroid big enough to destroy the earth comes our way, that is the real doomsday. Date is unknown.
