How to color using markers like manga artists?
I'm not an expert when it comes to manga, but I like my share of material and I've always liked the mood set by hand colored art, manga to be particular. I've seen photos of artists using markers to color their art, but I've never grasped how to work with them, or which brand to work with. I haven't found any real tutorials, so if anyone can offer any advice, or at least point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated. Videos, tutorial websites, ECT are all useful. Thank you.

I would take a look at these. There's a whole series of tutorial videos on art.

Copic markers are the best on the market. They are extremely expensive, but well worth it. The results are amazing.
There is also a Korean knock-off brand, which look similar. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of them. They're a tad less expensive, but a lot worse than copics.
I can't really suggest any regular brand markers, as they tend to leak and do not mix colors well(they make the paper too moist and it rips or peels.)
One thing some artists do, is buy a few copics, and a large set of high quality pencil crayons. This way, it is much cheaper and still looks very nice. Even just the pencil crayons. You can buy large sets of 60-120 water color pencil crayons, for a decent price.
You can buy Copics, water color pencil crayons and the Korean knock-offs at Michaels if you have one in your area, or most art specialty stores.
As for liners, I suggest either Sakura or Faber Castell. They are both high quality, and fairly expensive, but not too much. I haven't had either smudge or leak. I prefer the Faber Castell, but they are very..."sensitive" and you have to make sure not to push too hard with them on the paper, or the tip night break off.
You'd worth with them like any other medium. You start with a light, base color. Make sure it's dried, then put on a second and maybe third or fourth layer.

Manga artists in manga's usually don't color. It's black and white but on the cover it is colored on the computer. If you are just drawing for fun or for a friend or something I would suggest doing colored pencils. I draw manga almost everyday and only on chibi's do I use markers.
