before bed for the past week, arm pain/tingling, chest pain, belching, headaches, shortness of breath?

I can't sleep. I"m only 21. I have acid reflux, but it's never gotten this bad before, so I 'm really confused at what this is, and why I can't sleep. Also my posture is weird, because my left shoulder hurts too. Only at night though. So confused...

Update:

I have had panic attacks before, but this is different....I'm belching all of the time. Also, I am taking an acid reducer. It is obviously either making it worse,or not helping....at all.

I honestly believe that it is anxiety. I have those symptoms on occasion. Stress is the main cause of it. It can do all sorts of funny things to your body. It can cause headaches, muscle tension (even in your chest causing pain in your chest wall), and sometimes the feeling of shortness of breath and hyperventilation. My advice is that when you feel like this, lie down with a cool wet rag on your forehead, and breathe deeply and slowly. I like to take five seconds inhaling, hold it for five seconds, and take five seconds exhaling. It relaxes you, and it solves shortness of breath. The funny thing is is that I have acid reflux as well. It seems to be a symptom of anxiety from what I've read.

Hi there: Try not to eat to much at night. That is a bad time to over eat. Here is a med that will help you with that problem. it's called prilosec. But you do need a Dr scrip for this drug. This will work also put a little baking soda in about 8oz of water. Then mix well and drink. You have a fine day.
