Which mythical race is the most environmentally friendly?
Between the following fictional (humanoid) races: elves, dwarves, mermaids, giants, hobbits, laperchauns, vampires, werewolves, wizards/witches, or fairies?
In my opinion, fairies would be the most eco-friendly race because of their tiny size and because they live in harmony with nature (and are also VEGAN). Being so small, a single fairy would use up hardly any natural resources compared to many of the larger races, (humans included).
But what do you think (and why)?

You are crazy, fairies only because their vegan.
Well I find fairies to be unperdictable, they can stab you in the back if they don't get what they want, very demanding, spoilt and have the whole small issue going on. Only thing fairies have in comparison to your question, they are like vegans nothing more. Fairies tend to be low down on the mythical creature list and mostly live to serve another.
I agree elves are the most environmentally friendly as they are the people of the forest and close to the understanding and teachings of nature.

The Hylians because they are elves. They practically invented the forest. Also, they are a very peaceful race and society. They strive to keep the peace, help their allies, and without them, there would be no Lon Lon milk or cucoos, natural sources of healing milk and transportation. And if the Hylians did not exist, the world would have been destroyed, so by their existence they have already saved the planet from total destruction, and still do.
Yes, I am being a nerd for the purpose of this question.

Maybe I'm not as involved in fiction and fantasy as some of you vegans, but I don't remember seeing in any story where fairies are identified as "vegan". Did you actually read that someplace, or are you just making it up because it sounds good?
Regardless, I think the most environmentally friendly myth is that of the true vegan- the vegan that really doesn't kill or use animals in any way (as many ordinary vegans pretend to be). It is environmentally friendly, as well as completely mythical.
