Survey: Which is better on a Saturday, staying home on the computer or Deer hunting?

Depends on what kind of gear i have, if there are a lot of deer. if I have a truck to get me there and back and take the deer with me, and if I have the means to preserve and keep the meat. If I juts walk out with a bow and nothing else, than F that. I will stay home. If I have cold weather gear, a rifle, deer scent, a tree stand in a good area, and the like, with a place to process the deer and than keep the meat and bones (for soup) , and hide (leather) than I would do that cause it would be worth it. I have none of that however, so why would I?

Why do people come onto a hunting section and put the people who do it down and blame them as heartless? I don't go onto your male professional hands and fingernails care, hiya boys lets hit the mall and decide on up some mocha and hair gel sections and let you know to develop a pair. EDIT:Tahuna If the message doesn't follow to you don't take it in my opinion "massive man". And with all that enlightenment and education you appear to lack an open intellect and notice that with out searching we wouldn't be right here. As nomadic individuals people hunted for survival, hunting is tough-wired into our typical instincts and will have to be used. Despite the fact that actual hunting is fair and checks peoples talents and senses some play outside the foundations by way of poaching and tresspassing, and like the whole lot else the unhealthy ones label the bunch. EDIT: Your on the correct track then. Whatever I hunt and kill will eventually to find its method into my freezer and into cooked food. Besides deer which is made into jerky, most of the time given that it lasts perpetually and tastes good if made right. Just right success.

Just about anything has to be better than sitting on a computer too long.

Deer hunting gives a bonus... you get outside, get some exercise and hopefully... supply yourself with some food.

Did both on a Saturday back in November !!

I was enjoying the computer in our Ranch Office when the Grandson alerted me that a 5 pt buck walked into our South Pasture... I walked to the kitchen porch with my Enfield... dropped him with a 240 yard shot... drove my UTV out to get him, dressed him in the slaughter-house (we raise pigs, sheep, & goats) and left him hanging while I went back to my computer.

Elapsed time was just over 60 minutes... and I brought in the Liver for lunch.
