In my post from a few mins ago i was thanking about my questions from earlier in the week, my hamster was haviing issues and i took him to the vet, hes been on antibiotics and eyedrops however what he had was stronger and he died a few hours ago. It seems like hamsters are fragile creatures~ are there many hamsters who dont ever get sick and die? Are there alot of healthy hamsters or do they all get sick and die like this?

Every animal (and every human, for that matter) can get sick and die, hamsters aren't different.
Get a new one, maybe different animal.. I myself like dogs, but they're way more expensive and harder to take care of, if u have the money, the time and the patience- get a dog.

No. I've had 15+ hamsters who've all lived long, healthy lives and have eventually died of old age causes. However I've also had roughly 15 who've died of many different illness, such as URI infections. As long as you know that it's nothing you actually did to make them sick - they are in fact very fragile creatures and get sick and die often.
I'm very, very sorry for your loss ♥
