How much does diet and exercise affect growth?
I'm 13 and want to get taller, and heavier for football. I was wondering how much does diet, exercise, and sleep affect growth, or is it 99% genetics.

genetics dictates your potential, but to be able to reach your max height potential, the biggest factors are proper diet and getting enough sleep.
you need to make sure you eat well balanced meals and get enough calories so your body has what it needs to grow. Also your long bones like in your arms and legs (which effect height) can only grown when your body is at rest, so without getting enough sleep you can stunt your growth.
exercise really has nothing to do with your height, but it does help you develop strength and fitness. however excessive amounts of activity without eating enough can cause your body to burn too many calories and your body may not have all it needs for proper development, but if you eat enough this isnt a problem.
