what I need to know is that what is the most important thing to look for while selecting a GPU, because every PC game has its own requirement, and what role does the above properties play on a memory card??

What games are you trying to play? It's a little complicated to explain what each specification does. When you load any program or game, your processor pulls those files out of your hard drive and stores them in your ram to be used. A GPU basically runs all the graphical instructions needed. Higher end games require a lot of memory to render details in games.
If you're playing high end games, the below link shows best-worst GPU's. You may want to start from the top of the list and figure out what your price range is. Personally I have two GTX 570's. Just one is enough to run any game, but I do a lot of high def streaming so I went overkill with two. If you're not playing the most graphic intensive games then maybe search cards in the 3-2000 G3D mark

Well a console just plays it. So get an xbox and that plays the games no problem.
