DVI to HDMI cable!!!?
My monitor has only a DVI and a VGA port, my pc only has a VGA and an HDMI port. I want to buy a DVI to HDMI cable to connect them. So would that give me a better image quality than VGA or no?

My Monitor, an ASUS VE248Q has only a VGA and an HDMI
My Craphics card has VGA and a DVI.
My monitor came with an HDMI to DVI cable.
I prefer not using adapters because their quality can be iffy.
and a cable that has the correct "ends" is not materially more expensive than
an adapter...

Omy last monitor (a fairly old IBM LCD) the difference in quality was noticeable
when I switched from VGA to DVI.
Both HDMI and DVI are digital connection, but HDMI also has audio and remote
control connections, but the difference for carrying the digital video signal is a
mechanical difference.
