Would changing Auto Insurance carrier's affect my No-Fault claim with my current insurance carrier?

I was in an automobile accident in August and I currently have an open no-fault claim with my insurance carrier. My premium was raised as the result of me moving and I would like to switch to a different carrier, but I am not sure if it will affect my no-fault claim with my current insurance carrier. I still need to go to physical therapy etc., and my current carrier pays the doctor's bills and sends me checks for loss wages. If I switch to a different auto insurance company, will my current insurance carrier stop all payment? Meaning I will no longer receive checks for loss of wages and my doctor's bills will no longer be paid? I've spoken with both companies and it seems that nobody knows the answer to that question. Hopefully reaching out to someone who was in a similar situation can help. Thanks in advance.

No. in fact, the adjuster handling your claim may not even know you're no longer insured with them. The fact is, you were their insured at the time of the accident, and you will continue to be considered an insured for anything related to this claim. No matter how long it stays open.

I used to have a properly prevalent coverage company additionally. I switched to risk-free motor vehicle, which grew to become into extra fee-effective yet than the gecko. I even have purely had one twist of destiny on condition that-- I hit a deer. It grew to become into coated minus deductable... no problem, speedy restoration on the line returned... besides I have not have been given any regrets in switching. the in the previous you save various money the extra valuable. Switching stored me $one hundred.00 a month!!! which would be unlawful to overcharge like that! in the experience that your provider wont decrease fee after being dependable for 9 years?! kick them to the shrink.
