Supposedly they "interested" in Grady Sizemore. If the team was ready to compete, I'd prefer Bourn as they need a leadoff hitter and a 40 steal guy and speedster works well in Citifield. I'd like an established outfielder, but I'm content on Nieuwenhuis, Duda, Baxter, Valdespin and now Cowgill. I liked Nieuwenhuis last year and since they're not competing anyway, it's not like it matters. I'd like to rotate those guys and see if maybe one or two becomes something to add to the nucleus. Maybe Cowgill becomes another Cody Ross. For some reason, I have a feeling about this team. I'm not saying they'll compete, but the last few years have proven you don't need all stars at every position to get to the playoffs let alone win the Series.

Bourne last movie opened with promise but left the audience disappointed. That alone makes him a perfect Bay fit on Citi field. I doubt they could pay him much. I think an alternate ending might improve Win shares i was thinking maybe play Mookie Wilson grandson so-so Wilson. remember as so-so goes so goes the Mets.

Nope. He is overrated like every other player these days.

Assumption invalid. They can't pay up. So it won't happen.
