I've been using this recipe for years and it always turns out deliciously. Bake it up in a Bundt pan and you have a wreath.

Banana Bread - Makes 2 lrg loaves or 4 med loaves

    6 ripe bananas

    4 eggs

    1 cp butter

    2 cps sugar

    4 cps flour

    2 tsp baking soda

    1/4 tsp salt

    2 cps chopped nuts (optional)

In a small bowl mash the bananas. A potato masher works really well for this. Add the eggs and mix together well.

In a large mixing bowl blend the sugar and butter together using the potato masher again. Add the banana/egg mixture and stir together. Add the dry ingredients and stir just till blended. Stir in the nuts if you want them.

Spray your loaf pans with cooking spray and fill them with batter about ¾ full. Bake in a 350* oven for the following times.

Full size loaf – 1 hr 10 min

    Med loaf - - - - - 50 min

    Mini loaves - - - 40 min
