Is it worth starting probiotics before a course of antibiotics?

I took probiotics a few months ago and they did help my IBS... I stopped taking them just because I couldn't afford it, they're expensive haha. But now my ibs is coming back with a vengeance and I want to start them again. But I'm pregnant and due really soon (don't worry the probiotics themselves are safe for pregnancy I made sure) and I am strep b positive so when I deliver I will be put on IV antibiotics. I know antibiotics pretty much kill probiotics because they don't know the difference between good and bad bacteria. So is it even worth starting them now or just waiting until after I deliver the baby?

I reckon the antibiotics would just kill off the probiotic ones too, so every time I get antibiotics I wait till the top of the path then take are living yogurts to exchange the candies that got killed off.
