I don't believe your statement about taxes for the rich is a fact. And regarding gun control in big cities not working, I believe that those cities like Chicago passed all those gun control ordinances because there was so much crime and shooting in the first place. The crime came first, in other words, not after the gun control. The problem now is that with many millions of guns loose in the USA, and guns being sold illegally and stolen from legal owners, it is almost impossible to get rid of them no matter what laws are passed. It may take many decades to solve the problem of so much firearm violence in the USA.

"More government control always means more restrictions on freedom" Then you have no problem with a woman's right to choose, legalizing all drugs including crack. Actually more government control can mean more freedom for more people and not just a few select rich people.

Each human skin cell contains the DNA to replicate a human being.
